Brevard County transportation companies appear to be victorious in legal skirmish with Orlando!
Three Central Florida transportation companies, including two in Brevard County, appear to be victorious in a recent legal skirmish with the city of Orlando over policies for picking up travelers at Orlando International Airport.
Filing the lawsuit in Orange Circuit Court were TraveLynx, Cocoa; 888 Transportation LLC, Cape Canaveral; and the Daytona Beach-based Daytona Orlando Transit Service Inc.
Attorney Thomas Yardley said the Orlando’s new rules violated the companies’ right to “engage in interstate travel free from the regulations of local cities and towns.” Read the full Florida Today article here.
